This week, Canadian Ski Patrol members and partners will gather at Big White Ski Resort in Kelowna, B.C. for our annual Leadership conference.
From March 30 until April 2, ski patrollers will take part in development sessions with a focus on leadership and customer service, led by industry experts.
This year’s conference keynote address will be given by Josh Dueck, a paralympic medalist who serves as an ambassador for the Rick Hansen Foundation and as president for the LIVE it LOVE it Foundation. He was named National Geographic’s “Adventurer of the Year” in 2012. The documentary film about his story, Freedom Chair, has won numerous festival awards. Josh Dueck is also a Queen’s Diamond Jubilee recipient.
