Avalanche rescue dogs will be showing off their skills this Sunday, January 18 at Kananaskis Avalanche Awareness Day, a hands-on learning opportunity for anyone heading out for winter adventure.
Demonstrations and information on snowpack analysis, rescue techniques, winter survival skills, and snow-season recreational opportunities. 11 am to 3 pm. Free hot dogs and hot chocolate. Burstall Pass parking lot, Peter Lougheed Provincial Park.
