There are two weekend recert courses, on September 15\/16<\/strong> and October 20\/21<\/strong>, running from 0800 to approximately 1630 on both days. There is also a weeknight option, running during the evenings of September 24-27<\/strong> (1800-2200). All recert courses will be run out of the NAIT Patricia Campus<\/a><\/strong> located at\u00a012204 149 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5V 1A2 (Room P157\/159).<\/p>\n

The recert course format will be very similar to that of previous years. We will be doing a 100 question CSP exam, a 20 question CPR exam and a five question OH&S exam. We will also be demonstrating all slings and bandages (can be reviewed in video format here<\/a><\/strong>), oxygen use, and we will be doing a diagnostic exam. You will need to score 80% to pass.<\/p>\n

Note that despite what many of you may have heard or read, we will not be utilizing Canadian Red Cross training materials.<\/p>\n
