Please take the time to review incident reporting at the resort(s) you patrol at. A number of forms will need to be filled out when you provide assistance to a patient. These vary from resort to resort<\/strong>. If you have any questions about the resort-specific reporting forms, then please reach out to your shift senior or roster trainers for clarifications.<\/p>\n

The one form that is the glue that holds our documentation process together is the Ski Area Accident Report Form (SAAR Form<\/strong>). This was developed by the Canada West Ski Areas Association<\/strong><\/a> (CWSAA). A copy of the SAAR form can be downloaded here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Note that each resort has its own policy of patroller identification<\/span> on the forms used.<\/strong> These range from using the last four digits of your CSP patroller number to a combination of your name and your resort call sign.<\/p>\n
