Supporting your local ski patrol!

Do you ski or snowboard a lot? Or would you like to get out on the snow more often?

Like to try out different areas? Looking for ways to stay active during the winter?

Need great gifts for family or friends? Are you looking for a way to thank employees and clients?

Then you’ll love….the Gatineau Zone Ski Pass!

We have partnered with a number of local ski areas to offer the Ski Pass, with revenue from the program going to support the Canadian Ski Patrol in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. Our volunteer-based organization is dedicated to promoting safe skiing and boarding and providing premier first aid services to skiers and boarders in need. By purchasing a Ski Pass, you are contributing directly to the purchase and maintenance of life saving equipment like defibrillators, toboggans, and clinic supplies in your local ski area and at summer events, such as BluesFest and the Ottawa Race Weekend, across the National Capital Region.

The Ski Pass is fully transferrable (but not for resale), and is available in two formats:

  • a booklet of 20 single day lift tickets
  • a booklet of 10 single day lift tickets

Purchases can be done on-line by contacting, beginning in October, with tickets being delivered to you before December 1st. Tickets are redeemed at the ticket office for a day pass at any of the participating resorts.

Update 2020

We have been working with the ski area operators who take part in the Ski Pass program to determine how we might be able to offer the program this year, in light of the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on their operations.

With the way the ski areas have to modify their ticketing procedures this year, and the requirement to limit and manage occupancy of lift chairs and lodges, it will not be possible to offer the Ski Pass program this year.

We regret to have to put the program on hold this year, as we greatly appreciate the support you have shown us over the years.

Rest assured, we hope to be able to re-start the Ski Pass program in the 2021-22 season, when ski areas are able to return to normal operations.

Thank you for your support, and please do take advantage of the ski season to support your local areas in these difficult times.
