Lake of the Woods Zone is based in Kenora Ontario. Many years ago, it was decided that as Kenora was actually closer to Winnipeg than to southern Ontario, it made more sense to include Kenora as a part of Manitoba Division. the ski area patrolled is Mount Evergreen, and with 8 main runs and several connectors, there’s a run for everyone. Open weekends and weekdays for school groups, Lake of the Woods ski patrollers are a busy group.

Each of the areas offer a variety of runs for skiers and boarders of all abilities, and welcome many school groups throughout the winter season. Red River Zone is very happy to provide advanced first aid services at all these areas.
