It’s never too early to start planning for your next epic ski trip. If you are pondering a ski trip for the 2017-2018 winter season, the 2018 CSP Mountain Division Ski Improvement Clinic should very definitely be on your radar. This legendary event (in various forms) goes back at least three decades and just keeps getting better and better. In 2018, it will be twice as good!

Due to overwhelming demand (the trip has been totally sold out in each of the last three years) the CSP is offering in 2018 a choice of two, one-week clinics beginning on either Sunday, January 28; or Sunday, February 11, 2018. The amazing Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is once again our venue for a world-class event with great instruction on fantastic snow on truly epic terrain. Kicking Horse features a more-than 4,100 foot vertical, and in excess of 2,800 skiable acres of terrain. It receives seven metres of snow a year.

The activity-packed program in each of the weeks will remain as it has in prior years, with arrival on the Sunday, five hours of group instruction on each of Monday through Thursday (20-plus hours of instruction total), a celebratory banquet on the Thursday evening, and day of un-programmed skiing and snowboarding on the Friday. Once again, we will have our legendary Ski Improvement hosts’ party, lots of socializing including our daily er, hydration sessions at Peaks Grill, and a must-attend wrap up banquet on the Thursday night. The great discounts at Kicking Horse retail and food outlets will be better than ever (seriously), and our series of styling, collectors’ edition CSP Mountain Division Ski Improvement swag will continue.

Pricing is very competitive with lessons, lifts and banquet coming in at $571, and accommodation pricing very favourably comparable to 2017. Discounted prices are available for accommodation and lift tickets before and after each clinic, for those that want to get in extra days.

This event attracts and invites CSP members and their friends and family from across Canada – and beyond. We have instruction groups for all levels of competence in either skiing or snowboarding, so there is a spot for everyone. New for 2018, we are hoping to attract adequate numbers to support a Telemark instruction group. We also have special lift pricing for children and youths. Skills improvement is at the centre of the offering and lessons are a mandatory part of the clinic package.
