This note is to let you know about an exciting volunteer opportunity on the national management team. Following the recent resignation of Andrew Larcombe for health reasons, we are looking for a new Vice-President of Business Operations. This is a key role that oversees our financial and administrative functions and provides an important voice amongst peers at the national table.

The attached job description outlines the role and the desired qualifications and experience. I would encourage interested individuals to apply. As with other recent openings on the management committee, we will conduct a formal interview and selection process. I will be joined by a couple of past board members on the selection committee.

This is an exciting time to be involved with the national organization. We are charting a new course and revitalizing the organization as we build a strong and sustainable future for the Canadian Ski Patrol. This is a chance to be part of the team leading that effort. If you’ve been thinking about getting involved, why not raise your hand!

If you would like to apply, please send your résumé and cover letter by Friday, November 24 to Renée Thivierge at renee.thivierge@skipatrol.ca. Renée can also answer any questions about the role.
