Spring is in the air – which is the perfect time to plan ski trips for the 2018-2019 winter season.

Interested in improving your skiing or snowboarding skills in a relaxed, engaging atmosphere on fantastic snow at a world-class venue with patrollers, family and friends from across Canada and around the world? And better yet, doing it all at an amazing value? Then the CSP Mountain Division Ski Improvement Clinic in January and February 2019 is the event for you.

Registrations are open for event at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, with two weeks available:

  • Week 1: January 27 to February 1, 2019.
  • Week 2: February 10 to 15, 2019.

This is a better deal than ever, with 2019 pricing for both programming (four-days of group lessons, five days of lifts, and the wrap-up banquet) and accommodations unchanged from 2018. The adult package for lifts, lessons and the banquet will once again be $571. Attendees also enjoy a slew of special discounts on the mountain and in nearby Golden, B.C., for restaurants; ski gear, tuning and rentals; fine dining; gifts; clothing; coffee and snacks; avalanche gear and more. Everyone receives a valuable (and actually useful) memento of unique Ski Improvement Clinic swag.

Attendees arrive on a Sunday with a meet-and-greet, enjoy five hours of group instruction (grouped by skiing or snowboarding, and by competency level) each day Monday through Thursday; gather to celebrate at a wrap-up banquet and pub night on Thursday evening, and enjoy an un-programmed day of skiing or snowboarding on the Friday. Along the way are daily, er, hydration sessions at the pub, optional fine dining nights, a host’s party and most of all, amazing camaraderie and skills improvement.

The focus is fun. Instruction is a group-tailored program of skills improvement with a large dose of guided exploration of the mountain at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Kicking Horse boasts North America’s fourth-highest vertical of more than 4,130 feet (1,260 m) and 2,800 skiable acres and an annual average seven metres of snow. In 2017-2018 the mountain got ten metres (almost 33 feet) of snow!

This clinic has roots stretching back close to 40 years, but is more popular than ever due to great value, fantastic instruction, amazing terrain, epic snow, warm atmosphere and super-good times! We exceeded 80 per cent of clinic capacity in 2018 after doubling our offering; that followed three years of sell-outs. So, don’t delay –space is limited and registrations are already coming in.

We really hope you can join us and experience the legend. Pricing and payment details for the event can be found here.
