Dear division presidents and zone presidents,

I am writing to inform you of recent changes to the National Management Committee (NMC). Mr. Tom Tull resigned for personal reasons as VP Business Operations on Friday, January 18, 2019. I would like to thank Tom for his work on the NMC and his dedication to serving the Canadian Ski Patrol. On behalf of the CSP, I would like to extend our collective best wishes to him for the future.

The NMC met on January 19, 2019 and discussed distributing the duties of the VP Business Operations between the remaining NMC members. The allocation of these duties will remain in effect until June 2019 and the NMC and the Board of Directors will review the structure of the NMC over the next several months.

The VP Business Operations duties have been allocated in the following way:

  • Bruce Robinson, President and CEO
    • Finance administration and reporting
    • Budget preparation / reporting / monitoring
  • Renée Thivierge, National Manager
    • National registration process
    • Administrative policies and procedures
    • Translation
  • Greg McCormick, VP Brand and Partners
    • Annual General Meeting
  • Andrea Burry, VP Members and Resorts
    • Human resources
  • Ian Bowen, Division President Representative
    • Vulnerable Sector Search

You will find attached an updated list of the portfolio accountabilities for each of the NMC members as of January 21, 2019. If you have any questions regarding one of the areas from the VP Business Operations, please consult this list and reach out to the appropriate person.
