Dear CSP Members,
Winter has arrived in Canada and many of you have already started to patrol at your home resorts. The CSP national board of directors and the national management team would like to take a moment to wish you a great ski and snowboard season.
I would like to personally thank you for your commitment to help make skiing and snowboarding safe while Canadian families and their friends enjoy time outdoors and in the snow.
Work continues on major projects:
- PROJECT YETI (aka NDS replacement) – The project team is in the process of gather user stories from leadership across the country. These stories will help inform the needs for the new database.
- Strategic Design Steering Committee – The SDSC has met 5 times prior to the holiday season and completed a project charter and an analysis of the CSP’s current strategy. Working from the current strategy, the SDSC is now looking to the future.
- Altitude 2020 – Altitude 2020 will be held in Calgary, Alberta, June 4-7, 2020 at the Delta Marriott Downtown. Registration in formation will be available in January.
All of us at the CSP hope you have a enjoyable time making memories with your loved ones this holiday season, raising a glass, sharing meals, playing in the snow, or cozying up by the fire.
