By Eleanor Culver, National Human Resources Director (eleanor.culver@skipatrol.ca)

Earlier this year the CSP echoed the world and stated that black lives matter. Discussion and questions from the membership highlighted the need for a committee of to look at diversity within the CSP. The committee will be part of the National Human Resources portfolio under Eleanor Culver.

We are seeking patrollers to form the first CSP National Diversity Committee. The first task will be to review the draft proposal for the role and goals of the committee, edit and present it for board approval. This is a rare opportunity in the CSP to be a part of something new that will become a more formal part of our culture.

If you are interested in this important role, look at the job description and draft terms of reference found on the NDS shared files under national job descriptions. Please contact Director of Human Resources, Eleanor Culver, (eleanor.culver@skipatrol.ca) if you have any questions or would like to obtain a copy of the job description.

Applications and resumes are to be submitted to Eleanor Culver by January 30, 2021. Please note that candidates will be contacted for an interview during the selection process. Zone and division presidents may also be contacted for references.
