It’s the lazy days of summer. Absolutely the perfect time to plan an epic winter getaway at the 2026 CSP Mountain Division Ski Improvement Clinic.
Registrations for next year’s clinic (three clinic weeks in January and February 2026 at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort in Golden, B.C.) have been very strong since sign-up opened in late May. As of the end of July, a handful of spots are available in Week 2 (February 1 to 6, 2026), while Week 1 (January 18 to 23, 2026) has ample room. Week 3 (February 22 to 27, 2026) is sold out.
- Week 1 will be January 18 to January 23, 2026. Registrations are wide open.
- Week 2 will be February 1 to 6, 2026. A handful of spaces remain.
- Week 3 will be February 22 to February 27, 2026. Sold out.
The 2026 clinics mark 50 years of Ski Improvement for the CSP Mountain Division; the first clinic was held in 1977. This clinic is aimed at CSP members, along with friends and family.
The program includes four days of group lessons in either skiing or snowboarding, five days of lift access and a celebratory banquet on the Thursday night, all at the world-class venue of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. There is pricing available for youth (13 to 17) and children (six to 12), and additional one-day lift tickets available for adult, youth, and children.
Attendees receive group ski or snowboard instruction for more than 20 hours across four days (Monday to Thursday), in groups of similar competencies to optimize learning. The Thursday night is a highlight wrap-up banquet, with a day of unprogrammed skiing or snowboarding on the Friday.
The event includes a full and fun social agenda, and attendees have access to great discounts on food, equipment rentals, retail goods and many other offerings. Also, there is awesome swag! This event is a blast.
We are working on some special features to mark the 50-year milestone.
Pricing is very competitive, with the full program package of lifts, lessons, and the banquet coming in at a very reasonable $750 for adults. Pricing for accommodation (booked separately) varies according to room type and location.
Event and registration information can be found on the CSP Mountain Division website, at https://www.skipatrol.ca/mountain/.
This event has been organized by volunteers and offered at cost by the CSP Mountain Division for five decades, providing top-level ski and snowboard skills improvement in a relaxed, convivial environment focused on learning and enjoyment.
