If you are pondering an epic ski trip in the winter of 2026-2026, there are still a few spots available in Week 1 of the 2026 Mountain Division Ski Improvement Clinic.
The clinic, at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort in Golden, B.C. offers an unparalleled opportunity for patrollers, along with their friends and family, to access top-level ski and snowboard skills improvement in a relaxed, convivial environment focused on learning and enjoyment. Week 1 runs January 18 to 23, 2026.
Registrations for next year’s clinic (three clinic weeks in January and February 2026) have been extraordinarily strong since sign-up opened in late May. Although there are a handful of spaces remaining in Week 1, weeks 2 (February 2 to 6, 2026) and 3 (February 22 to 27, 2026) are completely sold out.
The program includes four days of group lessons in either skiing or snowboarding, five days of lift access and a celebratory banquet on the Thursday night, all at the world-class venue of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. There is pricing available for youth (13 to 17) and children (six to 12), and additional one-day lift tickets available for adult, youth and children.
Attendees receive group ski or snowboard instruction for more than 20 hours across four days (Monday to Thursday), in groups of similar competencies to optimize learning. The Thursday night is a highlight wrap-up banquet, with a day of unprogrammed skiing or snowboarding on the Friday.
There is a full and fun social agenda, and great discounts on food, equipment rentals, retail goods and many other offerings. Also, awesome swag! This event is super fun.
This clinic has been organized by CSP Mountain Division volunteers and offered at cost since 1977; next year’s clinic marks 50 years. We are working on some special features to mark the 50-year milestone.
The full program package of lifts, lessons and the banquet is a very reasonable $750 for adults. Pricing for accommodation (booked separately) varies according to room type and location.
