Welcome to winter with the Canadian Ski Patrol!

On behalf of the CSP board of directors, thank you for being part of the patrol and helping ski areas and communities across Canada.

If this is your first time putting on a CSP jacket, welcome to our team. I hope this season gives you lots of opportunities to be part of a great patrol group and put your training to good use. Your skills and professionalism will have a direct impact on the safety and enjoyment of thousands of Canadians and visitors each year.

I’m excited to be starting my 30th year with the CSP and, for all returning patrollers, I appreciate your ongoing commitment to safety, service and the teamwork which defines the Canadian Ski Patrol. Thank you for your ongoing dedication and leadership. Your experience on the hills and trails, at events, and within your patrols, zones and divisions is critical to our organization.

This season, CSP offers many opportunities to grow – whether by advancing your first-aid skills, mentoring new patrollers, exploring leadership roles, or helping at CSP events across the country.

The CSP is excited to announce the return of the national conference, Altitude. It will be at Big White in March. We are also hosting the International Federation of Ski Patrols World Congress right after Altitude, which will also include the CSP National First Aid Competition. Registration is open now.

The other key activity this season is the board is formulating the organization’s next five-year strategic direction. There will be opportunities for you to share your thoughts and feedback.

As a reminder, your membership information, the new CSP Learning Management System, awards nominations and pro deals are all available on the CSP website.

Thank you for being part of the Canadian Ski Patrol from coast to coast and maybe we’ll see you at Big White. Have a safe, snow-filled season and have fun.

Welcome to winter 2025-2026
