Last month International Ski Patrol Day was recognized by ski areas nationwide. It’s an important day where the dedicated patrollers who work tirelessly to keep our slopes and trails safe, can be celebrated.

Some CSP partner ski areas celebrated the weekend before February 10 while some combined the loved felt on Valentine’s Day weekend with sharing a love for ski patrollers.

Helly Hansen’s continued support

Once again, Helly Hansen Canada had instore activations at their Whistler, Banff and Tremblant retail stores.

This event provided a fun and engaging way for customers to connect with the CSP, featuring a dedicated table with recruitment materials, a “Thank You Ski Patrol” sign and some in-store prizes.

Customers participated in winter safety and CSP trivia to win Helly Hansen swag, while also having the opportunity to ask questions, learn more about CSP, and explore ways to get involved in a relaxed and informative setting.

Looking ahead

The growing success of ISPD has reinforced the importance of recognizing and supporting ski patrollers. The Canadian Ski Patrol extends its heartfelt thanks to all participants, partner resorts, and especially to Helly Hansen for their generous donation.

As we look to the future, the CSP remains committed to promoting safety and providing essential services to skiers and snowboarders across Canada.

Support continues to grow for International Ski Patrol Day
