- The CSP National Conference and Common Ground Competition.
- The FIPS 2026 World Congress.

Seeking applications – national event coordinator
We are seeking a motivated CSP member to serve as national event coordinator to support both conferences.
This role is unpaid, but the successful candidate will have their travel and accommodation expenses covered to be at Big White during both events.
The successful candidate is responsible for establishing and chairing organizing committees for each of the conferences, event management leading up to March 2026, and on-site event oversight.
The national event coordinator is a high-profile position within the CSP and internationally, and reports to the national CSP co-executive directors.
The successful candidate will be on-site for both events and will form two organizing committees. These committees will work together to ensure smooth events.
Key responsibilities
- Forming and leading committees
- Establish and chair two organizing committees.
- Event coordination
- Oversee all aspects of both events, including registration, logistics, and communication with Big White, CSP divisions, zones, and patrols.
- For the CSP National Common Ground Competition, collaborate with the competition coordinator.
- For the FIPS World Congress, support FIPS in implementing its program and assist with local logistics, registration, social activities, and public relations.
- Sponsorship and fundraising
- Coordinate sponsorship opportunities for both events.
- Assist the co-executive directors in attracting national and local sponsors.
- Oversee a trade show booth representing the CSP at the FIPS World Congress.
Qualifications
- Must be a CSP member with strong organizational skills and event planning experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and lead teams effectively.
- This is an excellent opportunity for leadership and to make a significant contribution to the ski patrol community.
