The board of directors and the co-executive directors are looking for a member to fill the position of national HR portfolio leader.
Position overview
The national human resources portfolio leader is a volunteer leadership role responsible for the strategic oversight and operational coordination of human resource functions within the Canadian Ski Patrol. This role ensures that HR policies, practices, and systems promote a safe, inclusive, respectful, and legally compliant environment for all volunteers and employees across the organization.
This leader advises national leadership, collaborates with divisional and zone teams, and supports CSP’s mission through HR planning, education, issue resolution, and governance. As a steward of CSP’s people-first culture, the HR portfolio leader leads policy development, promotes respectful conduct, and fosters a high-performance volunteer environment.
Applications must include the following:
- CV reflective of all professional human resources-related experience, CSP human resources-related experience including positions held (current or past), recognition received, and length of service.
- A cover letter which includes your reasons for wanting to be the national HR chair, and what you would bring to the position.
- The names of two references (a minimum reference must be from applicants’ professional network).
