Arctic Winter Games 2026 – March 8-15, 2026
Whitehorse, Yukon

The tag line for this winter’s Arctic Winter Games is “what we’re made of.”

The Arctic Winter Games brings youth from across the north to compete in a wide range of sports, including several on-snow sports as well as traditional arctic and Dene sports.

The games rotate through the Canadian territories, provinces, and the State of Alaska every two years. Whitehorse is proud to be hosting the 2026 games.

CSP Yukon Zone is inviting ski patrollers from anywhere in Canada who are interested in joining us in the land of the Klondike to volunteer with our first aid team.

We will be patrolling at Mount Sima (for alpine, freestyle, snowboarding events), Grey Mountain (for biathlon events), and Mount McIntyre (for cross-country events).

CSP volunteers have lots of opportunities to spectate at many unique events and this is a great chance to see the northern lights in all their glory.

Billeting with local patrollers may be an option for patrollers coming from out of town and territory.

We have a fantastic team here in Yukon Zone, with cold hands but warm hearts, so think about joining us north of 60° and volunteering at the 2026 Arctic Winter Games.

Let’s show the participating athletes, dedicated volunteers and organizing committee WHAT WE’RE MADE OF!
