Change and the CSP<\/strong><\/p>\n

Verb\u00a0<\/i><\/strong>(used with object) \u2013 to make different in some particular, as size, style, course, or the like; modify: to alter a coat; to alter a will; to alter course.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Verb. \u00a0<\/i><\/strong>(used without object) \u2013 to change; become different or modified.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What is change? Why is there a change? Is it relevant? We all know that for an organization to remain relevant, we must change and modernize.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Why are we changing? Over the past few months, we have received a lot of input from members through our communications audit, retention survey, the education summit, emails, meetings, and listening to many members. This input covered training, requalification, and how we communicate \u2013 all of which impact the member experience. Our goal is to grow the CSP by modernizing areas and improve efficiencies for everyone.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We are looking at how the CSP does everything in order to provide a better member experience.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As the board of directors gathers more information from our membership, industry partners, and brand partners, we see what works well and what could benefit from a change.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet, change can cause anxiety for many. To lessen this anxiety, the CSP is ensuring changes being made are transparent and that we provide you with the opportunity to access all the information so members can gain a better understanding of the changes taking place.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

People can often be wary or resistant to change because it brings us into an unfamiliar arena. By ensuring you get information about the purpose and process of changes we make with the board, we are confident you’ll see the benefits for yourself as a patroller and the organization overall.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
