We are looking to fill the position of national alpine on-snow coordinator. As the alpine on-snow coordinator, you will be responsible to represent alpine on snow concerns for all disciplines on the national on-snow team and the training and development committee (TDC). The job description for this position\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.skipatrol.ca\/newsletter\/sites\/www.skipatrol.ca\/wp-content\/\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2021\/12\/JD_On_Snow_Coordinator.docx\">can be viewed here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Other responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure all on snow sections of the CSP educational collaterals (<i>CSP On Patrol Manual<\/i>) are up to date and accurate for a consistent national application.<\/li>\n<li>To act as a support for division on snow directors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Key attributes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Team members must have good time-management skills, the ability to express themselves clearly verbally and in written form, work within the team to meet the goals and objectives, and, have a good understanding of the CSP on snow program.<\/li>\n<li>Team members must have at least five years of patrol experience and be an active regular member with day-to-day patrol experience.<\/li>\n<li>Qualified and active as either an instructor or instructor trainer in on snow.<\/li>\n<li>Regional diversity will be considered within the pool of applicants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you want to be part of a great team and get a real sense of what on snow training comprises across the CSP this is the team to be part of.<\/p>\n<p>Applications must include the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A patrol CV, including all CSP experience, positions held (current or past), recognitions received, length of service, as well as any pertinent information from your personal\/professional life which is relevant.<\/li>\n<li>A cover letter which includes your reasons for wanting to be part of the team, and what you can bring to the position.<\/li>\n<li>The names of two references.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note \u2013 your zone and\/or division president will be contacted to indicate that you have applied for the position.<\/p>\n<p>Applications must be received not later than December 31, 2021.
