You will often see messages from the co-executive directors, or from the different portfolio leads. But we are also seeking interesting special interest articles from the broader membership.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Have you attended an event recently representing the CSP? Do you have some cool gear that you find useful in your patrol duties? Maybe you\u2019ve gone on a winter vacation and you met some patrollers from the resort you skied or snowboarded at? We would love to share your experience in a short (500 words or less) story about it.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Feel free to email your drafted article (along with attachments of the image or video files) to our 5\/5 editors AP Crawford<\/a> (English) and Jacques Blais<\/a> (French), or me<\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The deadline to submit an article in time for an upcoming 5\/5 newsletter issue, is the <\/span>last day of the month<\/span><\/b> at 11:00 p.m. ET.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Within the first week of the month, you will receive an email from AP, for <\/span>version<\/span>s originally submitted in English, or from <\/span>Jacques<\/span>, for ve<\/span>rsions originally submitted<\/span> in French<\/span>, with an edited version of your story. Note: Editing applied is to ensure we have spelling and punctuation consistency within Canada Press standards, and general grammatical correctness. You will be asked to confirm the final written article (in the language submitted) is accurate.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Then, keep an eye around the middle of the month for your article.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n If the upcoming 5\/5 issue is quite heavy with important member news that is of a timely manner, and the nature of your article isn\u2019t, there is a chance your article will be held for a later 5\/5 issue. However, you will be advised of that within the first week of the month.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Have some article topic ideas, but aren\u2019t sure where to start with writing it, reach out to AP and she will be happy to help flush out the article with you.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nWe are seeking interesting stories and topics for future member newsletters<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n
