The Canadian Ski Patrol is excited to announce a new member contest made possible through our partnership with Carv, the world\u2019s leading digital ski coach. From November 15, 2025, to March 20, 2026<\/b>, patrollers across the country can enter for a chance to win an incredible prize that brings cutting-edge technology straight to the slopes.<\/p>\n

At the heart of this contest is Carv\u2019s revolutionary ski training system: a pair of Carv 2 boot sensors<\/b>, paired with a one-year membership<\/b> to the Carv coaching app. This combination transforms your skiing experience, giving you real-time audio coaching, personalized performance analysis, and insights that help skiers of every level improve technique and efficiency.<\/p>\n

Carv\u2019s technology consists of tiny motion sensors that clip onto the top of your ski boots. Once paired with the Carv app, these sensors track every edge change, turn shape, and movement throughout your ski day. Using that data, the app can deliver personalized real-time feedback \u2013 whether you\u2019re focusing on carving precision, balance, or speed control.<\/p>\n

The result is the world\u2019s most advanced ski training platform. Professional racers use it to refine their edgework, while everyday skiers love the way it makes improving accessible, motivating, and fun.<\/p>\n

For patrollers, the technology gives an added advantage: tools that deepen understanding of skiing technique in ways that can also enhance teaching or coaching.<\/p>\n

Important note about using the Carv system<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

The CSP requests that patrollers not use the real-time coaching audio feedback while on active patrol duty.<\/p>\n

  1. The contest is open to all active members of the Canadian Ski Patrol in good standing at the time of entry.<\/li>\n
  2. Only one (1) entry per patroller will be accepted. Multiple entries will result in disqualification. Entrants must use the same email address that is used to log into their Yeti profile, on their contest entry form.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    2. Contest period<\/strong><\/div>\n

    1. The contest opens on November 15, 2025,<\/b> and closes on March 20, 2026,<\/b> at 11:59 p.m. EDST<\/li>\n
    2. Entries received after this time will not be considered.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
      \n
      3. Prize<\/strong><\/div>\n
      \n
        \n
      1. One (1) winner will receive:\n
          \n
        1. A pair of Carv 2 boot sensors, and<\/li>\n
        2. A one-year membership to the Carv app.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
        3. The prize is valid for use during the 2026\u20132027 winter <\/b>season only.<\/li>\n
        4. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and has no cash value.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

          4. Winner selection<\/strong><\/div>\n

            \n
          1. A random draw will take place on March 22, 2026,<\/b> from all eligible entries received.<\/li>\n
          2. The winner will be contacted via the email address listed in their Yeti profile.<\/li>\n
          3. To be declared a winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer a skill-testing question.<\/li>\n
          4. Winner will be announced in the April 5\/5<\/i> member newsletter.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

            1. By entering this contest, participants acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions.<\/li>\n
            2. The CSP and Carv are not responsible for incomplete, lost, or delayed entries.<\/li>\n
            3. CSP reserves the right to verify eligibility and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or violates these terms and conditions.<\/li>\n
            4. Acceptance of the prize constitutes consent for CSP and Carv to use the winner\u2019s name and CSP zone affiliation in promotional materials, without additional compensation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
