Nominations for candidates for election to the board of directors are now open. The board of directors of the Canadian Ski Patrol is elected under the authority of Bylaw 1, Section 5.01. Currently, there are seven directors.<\/p>\n

The voting period will be held from September 5, 2026. through September 12, 2026, via electronic vote. Voting will close at the annual general meeting of members to be held virtually via teleconference. There will be two vacancies on the board of directors. Each vacancy is for a three-year term, expiring at the annual meeting of members in 2029.<\/p>\n

Candidates are encouraged to complete the nomination form and candidate profile as soon as practicable, but no later than 29 May 2026<\/strong>. The nomination form and candidate profile document can be found online at these links:<\/p>\n

For the 2026 election, nominated eligible candidates must also complete and return via email (to david.peer@skipatrol.ca<\/a>) their candidate profile by May 29, 2026. The profile asks each candidate to provide a short biography; a statement of their vision for the future of the Canadian Ski Patrol; and a description of their personal experience and skills that are desirable as a director.<\/p>\n

Complete candidate profiles will be distributed to zone presidents and published on the Canadian Ski Patrol website to help voting members get to know each of the candidates and make an informed voting decision.<\/p>\n
