Our organization owes much of what it is today due to his dedication and hard work.<\/p>\n<p>John joined the CSP in Laurentien Zone in 1958 and patrolled at Val Morin. From the very beginning John was an active and involved member. He initiated and directed the first national fundraising campaign, in 1969 became national vice-president finance, and was elected to the board of directors in 1975 and became the national president.<\/p>\n<p>In 1976 John was hired as the CSP\u2019s first executive director, a position he held, and subsequently that of president and CEO, until his retirement in 2012.
