You will be required to review the submissions by a set deadline in a fair, objective and respectful manner; participate in (usually) one conference call; provide input on the nomination and scoring process; and complete other duties as required.<\/p>\n<p>Committee members must have good time management skills, the ability to express themselves verbally and in written form, work with a team to meet the goals and objectives of the program, and have a good understanding of the CSP recognition program.<\/p>\n<p>Committee members must have at least five years of patrol experience and be an active regular member with day-to-day patrol experience.<\/p>\n<p>The makeup of the committee requires that a life member be on the committee. As the current member has fulfilled his three-year mandate, we are now looking for another life member to join the committee.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, at least one of the remaining members selected must hold a Canadian Ski Patroller Award.<\/p>\n<p>Regional diversity will also be considered within the pool of applicants.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to be part of a great committee and get a real sense of what people across our organization are doing, this is the group to be part of.<\/p>\n<p>Applications must include the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Patrol CV, including all CSP experience, positions held (current or past), recognitions received, length of service, as well as any pertinent information from your personal\/professional life which is relevant.<\/li>\n<li>A cover letter which includes your reasons for wanting to be part of the committee, and what you can bring to the position.<\/li>\n<li>The names of two references.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note \u2013 your zone and\/or division presidents will be contacted to indicate that you have applied for the position.<\/p>\n<p>Applications must be submitted by <strong>October 18,<\/strong> <strong>2020<\/strong> to the chair of the recognition committee, Craig Taggart\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:craig.taggart@skipatrol.ca\">(craig.taggart@skipatrol.ca<\/a>). <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skipatrol.ca\/portal\/eng\/manage_files.php3?path=root~National%20Files~Awards\">The full job description is available here<\/a>.
