Returning patrollers also must recertify every year to be up to date on new and existing treatments. This ensures that patrollers from across the country are trained to the same standard.<\/span><\/p>\n Attendance at <\/span>all training<\/b> is mandatory. Any missed training days, exams, or training will result in a fail. Please let your instructor know as soon as possible if you have previous engagements scheduled for one of the dates and we will work hard to accommodate your needs.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n After the first year, our training time reduces to two weekends (30+ hours) for second year patrollers and is reduced to one weekend (15+ hours) for patrollers who have three or more years of experience with the CSP AFA course. <\/span><\/p>\n If you feel as though you\u2019d like to take the first year patroller course more than once, we welcome you! The course-load is heavy and there is a lot of information to learn. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n For those who already have AFA from another organization, and have two years (minimum) of first aid experience, you may qualify for the 30+ hour second-year patroller course.
