For regular members, the 2018 returnee recert season will commence on September 15, 2018

There are two weekend recert courses, on September 15/16 and October 20/21, running from 0800 to approximately 1630 on both days. There is also a weeknight option, running during the evenings of September 24-27 (1800-2200). All recert courses will be run out of the NAIT Patricia Campus located at 12204 149 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5V 1A2 (Room P157/159).

The recert course format will be very similar to that of previous years. We will be doing a 100 question CSP exam, a 20 question CPR exam and a five question OH&S exam. We will also be demonstrating all slings and bandages (can be reviewed in video format here), oxygen use, and we will be doing a diagnostic exam. You will need to score 80% to pass.

Note that despite what many of you may have heard or read, we will not be utilizing Canadian Red Cross training materials.
