Patrolling is not just about free skiing, free swag and free food with a side of first aid! The Edmonton Zone rewards those who do extra fundraising events and help out with instructing with Patroller Points!! This program compensates extra volunteer efforts at the eye-wateringingly lucrative rate of $5 per day! These funds can be used to purchase patrol equipment (skis, clothing, medical gear). Here’s the process:

1. Step up and do extra fundraising events or help out with teaching.
2. Contact Pam FitzGerald to determine your points balance and to confirm that one point equals one dollar.
3. Make your purchase and keep your receipt.
4. Fill out the zone expense claim form, located here.
5. Submit the form and receipt(s) to Pam, and voilà! You can turn those endless extra hours of volunteering into even more swag.
