Please remember to nominate deserving fellow patrollers for one of the Edmonton Zone’s many awards. Descriptions of the awards can be found here. Award nominations should be sent to Michael Cava no later than June 1 2021.

Nominations should ideally be written in a style somewhere on the spectrum between excoriating and humorous (ideally both). Let’s have some fun with this! Please do not simply throw in a nomination without explaining why you think the nominee is deserving of the award.

Recipients will receive their awards at the annual AGM and awards BBQ that, COVID permitting, will occur sometime in August or September.

The response to the April 30 News Blast piece on zone awards was tepid to say the least. Only four zone members could be bothered to download the list of awards.
