The CSP Edmonton Zone would like to extend a warm welcome to the 2018 crop of rookie patrollers, who are currently taking the CSP First Aid course at NAIT Patricia. We have 55 recruits this year, split between Edmonton and Cold Lake.

The CSP Edmonton Zone would like to ask all of the rookies to participate in Marmot Basin‘s poll to name the runs in the recently-opened Tres Hombres bowl. Please head over to their poll site located here and select the following two names as your choices: Camelos (Camels) and Correcaminos (Roadrunners). Our two Marmot Basin CSP patroller teams are the Camelherders and the Roadrunners. Please get your friends and family to help us out with this too! Time is of the essence! The deadline for submissions is October 21st at midnight (this coming Sunday).

Fundraising Commitments: please head over to our bingo volunteer sign-up sheet, located here. You are required to volunteer at two fundraising events per year. Sage advice is to bring a date and sign them up too. Then, on the morning following the bingo (if you bring a date), you can wake up with the realization that you have fulfilled your commitments and that the rest of your CSP season is gravy! Also note that the zone pays for après-bingo pizza and imbibements. What’s not to like? Get your bingo commitments done early!
