If you are planning to be away during the winter and need to miss one of your shifts, it is your responsibility to find a spare. Both Rabbit Hill and Snow Valley have email lists of people willing to be spares. Typically, you will owe your spare a shift, but some spares just want to spend more time on the slopes, so there may be no need to trade.

All us get sick and sometimes this interferes with our CSP commitments at short notice. If you are unable to work your shift due to illness, then please contact your shift senior so that they know you won’t be showing up.

Rookies: if you’d like to get experience at the low-country resort you are not rostered at, then you can ask to be added to their spares list. Contact the relevant patrol leaders to set this us: Rabbit Hill (contact Devin Nicoll) and Snow Valley (Sandra Mak).

Geoff Bean sparing it up at Rabbit Hill!
