Dear CSP Member,

Winter has arrived in all parts of the country, skiers and snowboarders are on the hills enjoying early season conditions, and many of you have already served shifts at your local hill.

This is a time of the year to reflect about our place within our community, the services we provide, and the people we will assist. Your community is your local hill and the people who ride there. Each of you serves an important role to ensure these skiers and snowboarders have a safe space to ride and enjoy being outdoors, enjoying the cold, fresh air. You are recognized as a professional with a tremendous amount of training and experience. In short, your presence at the hill and other venues provides a sense of safety to those around you.

Hundreds of thousands of Canadians will be enjoying recreational activities this holiday season and whether you are providing service to the people at the ski hills or in other venues their experience will be better because of the Canadian Ski Patrol.

We are proud to be part of an organization that is volunteer driven and community focused. The Board of Directors, National Management Committee and the staff at National Office wish to extend our best wishes to you and your family this holiday season. Enjoy this special time of year with your family and friends while providing an important service to your community.

Season’s Greetings,

Anne Haley-Callaghan, Chair – Board of Directors

Bruce Robinson, CPA, CMA, President and CEO

Happy Holidays!
