Here is our July furry friend:
Mochi, Ontario
Mochi is one of four animal siblings. She is a two-year-old mini-Aussie Doodle. Cute, cuddly and full of mischief! She is truly a “where you go, I will go” kind of dog, who loves stealing your shoe. Yes, that isn’t a typo. Take your shoes off at our home and she is sure to take a single shoe and lie on top of it.
Mochi is so sweet she can make your troubles go away (except when she is causing her own trouble). Her notable offences include, but are not limited to, pulling on her older sister’s face when she’s trying to sleep, chasing the cats, catching snakes, and jumping over baby gates to steal food!
Owner: Ai-Linn Chua, Boler Mountain, Western Zone.
How to get your pet featured
Please send an email to Diana Lee (diana.lee@skipatrol.ca) with the subject line: “Pets of Patrollers: Your Name, Your Pet Name” and the following details:
- Name, age, breed of your pet (e.g., Onyx, two years old, German Shepherd dog).
- Fun fact or an interesting detail about your pet and what they mean to you.
- Attach a photo of your pet (bonus points if they are wearing CSP gear).
- Your zone and the name of the resort(s) you patrol at.
Mental health is an important aspect of the Canadian Ski Patrol. We hope that these pet photos spark joy this summer.
Even for those who don’t have pets, interacting or even seeing an animal can boost their mood. Just think of the positive impact of therapy dogs.
