Who we are

The Canadian Ski Patrol (CSP) is a not-for-profit corporation made up of well-trained volunteer and professional members. The organization, which works on a national scale, was created to promote ski safety and to offer a first aid service to customers in need. The PCS offers a uniform, highly competent and responsible service to board sports enthusiasts, at no cost.

The Canadian Ski Patrol was founded in 1941 and now has over 4,500 volunteer members across Canada and actively patrols more than 200 ski resorts from coast to coast. The PCS is recognized for the quality and professionalism of its members.

The PCS trains alpine, nordic, snowboard and telemark patrollers. Services offered to members include, among other things, high caliber first aid training, insurance for volunteer patrollers, uniforms and training manuals.

The Canadian Ski Patrol in Quebec (PCSQ) offers its services to areas that offer their services to ski centers (alpine and nordic) in Quebec. The PCSQ also deals with media relations and relations with organizations at the provincial level.
