Dear zone presidents and division presidents,
This note is to advise that all financial reports must be filed for your Zone or Division no later than MAY 31, 2021 in the NDS. This is a hard date and no exceptions are available.
This timeline is beyond our control and has been imposed upon so that we may accurately and completely report our third-party submission that formed Note 10 in our audited Statements last year, to the Canada Revenue Agency.
Last year’s extension was related to COVID-19 and no extensions are being granted this year.
Additionally, internal financial statements to support the NDS submission for the year ended March 31, 2021 are to be provided electronically to the Financial Oversight Committee via the national office. The minimum acceptable report is a scanned copy of the opening balance(s) of your Zone or Division Account(s) on April 1,2020 and the closing balance(s) on March 31, 2021. If there is further supporting documentation deemed necessary, you will be contacted directly by a member of the Financial Oversight Committee.
