The CSP would like to wish Dan Cameron all the best as he retires from his ski patrol duties this year. Dan joined the CSP in 1973. He began his career in Gatineau Zone at Mont Cascades and did most of his patrolling at Mission Ridge in Saskatchewan. He also volunteered as a patroller for the 1988 Winter Olympic Games in Calgary, becoming another proud owner of pink sleeves.

Dan was involved in teaching and training, and even gave a helping hand back in the 1980s making sun valley splints and backboards.

While he is retiring from patrolling, we can expect to still see Dan on the slopes enjoying the snow. Thank you, Dan, for your many years of commitment to our organization.

Happy Retirement to Dan Cameron from Qu’Appelle Zone
