Hi, everyone! I’m CSP National Chairperson Stéphane Niles, and I’m thrilled to welcome both our new members and returning patrollers to the Canadian Ski Patrol family this season.

This is truly an exciting time to be a part of the Canadian Ski Patrol, as we’re embarking on a journey towards modernizing our training programs and enhancing the experience for all our members. Our commitment to promoting safety and excellence in providing first aid services remains unwavering, but we’re also embracing innovation and change to better serve you – our members, our resort partners, and the skiing and snowboarding community.

In our modernization efforts, over the next few years, we’ll be revamping our training programs, making them more accessible and tailored to our members’ and resort partners needs’, while meeting national and regional first aid training standards. We’re poised to invest in enhancing our e-learning platform to ensure that you have the best online learning experience possible – allowing you to learn on your schedule, wherever you may be.

But modernization isn’t just about technology; it’s about evolving our community, too. We’re fostering a culture of open, honest and respectful communication, inclusivity, adaptability to change and continuous learning.

As we look forward to the season ahead, I encourage you all to get involved and take advantage of the exciting opportunities the Canadian Ski Patrol has to offer. Whether it’s honing your first-aid skills, taking on a leadership role at the patrol, zone or division level, or simply enjoying the camaraderie of your fellow patrollers, there’s something for everyone. Make sure to check out our phenomenal pro-deal offerings in the members section at skipatrol.ca.

Thank you for choosing to be a part of the Canadian Ski Patrol. Let’s make this season one to remember. Together, we’ll continue to make our slopes a safer and more enjoyable place for all.
