Canadian Ski Patrol – Red Deer Zone offers free Nordic and Alpine safety talks for your group.
We cover prevention and treatment of cold injuries, gear safety and fitting, helmet safety and fitting, on-hill signage and etiquette, and we show a video about the Alpine Responsibility Code. There are two videos available: “Respect” is appropriate for upper elementary – high school aged kids. “A Little Respect” is designed for younger crowd. The presentation takes about an hour.
