Mission Ridge Winter Park

Members of Qu’Appelle Zone provide ski patrol services to Mission Ridge Winter Park, which is located in Fort Qu’Appelle, a town approximately 75 km. northeast of Regina.  Ski Patrol members also provide first aid services to community events, such as walks, runs, marathons, and triathlons, in Regina and nearby towns.

Many members have been recognized by the national organization of the Canadian Ski Patrol (Lifesaving Award, National Appreciation Awards, CSP awards, etc.). Within the national organization the Qu’Appelle Zone is known as a small, active, innovative zone with high training standards.

Mission Ridge Winter Park, which covers 27 acres, has a vertical drop of approximately 320 feet (97.5 meters). The Park has 15 trails that range from easy to difficult (green, blue, black). The area is served by a triple chairlift, with a capacity of 2,000 people per hour, and 2 conveyor lifts. The chairlift travels from the base to the top of the hill in seven minutes.

Visitors can purchase lift passes and rent equipment in the Day Lodge, which is also the home of Bubba’s @ Mission, an excellent restaurant with a varied menu.

Mission Ridge receives an annual snowfall of 100 inches (254 centimetres), 99% of which comes from snowmaking. Skiers and snowboarders are assured good snow conditions. The resort is owned and operated by Mission Ridge Developments Ltd.
