The gift that keeps on giving...
Since 1941, dedicated volunteers have provided critical first aid and rescue services on ski slopes and trails across Canada, and increasingly at sporting and community events off the snow.
We established the Canadian Ski Patrol Endowment Fund to ensure we can continue this vital role. The CSP Endowment Fund will keep our legacy strong for generations. A contribution to our endowment fund is a gift in perpetuity that builds the future of the Canadian Ski Patrol.
What is an endowment?
A charitable endowment is a fund created through donations of money or other financial assets such as stocks. The donations are invested, and the returns provide predictable income to help the organization be more financially stable and sustainable.
Gifts and giving
There are many giving option:
- One-time, monthly or annual donations
- Gifts of securities (no capital gains)
- Bequests, life insurance and other legacy gifts
A gift can be made by an inidividual or a group to commemorate an important event, a moment or someone dear. Gifts can be made anonymously if desired.
If the Canadian Ski Patrol is important to you, your family or friends, and you would like to discuss making a "forever gift" or one that supports the Canadian Ski Patrol's current needs, please contact us.
“As the CSP’s founder, my father “Dr. Doug” Firth never lost his passion for the invaluable work of the patrol and its dedicated members. In his will, he left a significant bequest to the CSP to ensure its continued success. I joined the CSP late in life, and understood immediately dad’s commitment. I have added to his original gift to create a $25,000 family contribution to the CSP Endowment Fund.”
